Staff wellbeing support built for nurseries
Working in early years is one of the most emotionally demanding roles there is. Central Wellbeing Support delivers specialist mental health and wellbeing programmes for nurseries, preschools, and childcare providers across Nottingham, the East Midlands, and the UK.
Your team gives everything. Who supports them?
Nursery staff face a unique combination of pressures that most generic wellbeing programmes are never designed to address.

Staff shortages
Remaining staff absorb more pressure, more often – with no relief in sight.

Ofsted pressure
Inspection cycles create sustained anxiety for managers and room leaders alike.

Emotional labour
Caring for young children all day takes a toll that doesn’t clock off at 6pm.

High turnover
Burnout drives experienced staff to leave – raising recruitment and training costs.
Why CWS
We understand nurseries from the inside

Ofsted and staff wellbeing
Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework includes specific references to staff wellbeing under leadership and management. Inspectors look for evidence that leaders actively manage workload and wellbeing — not just acknowledge it. A structured CWS programme gives you exactly that evidence, documented and ready.
Support tiers
Choose the level of support that fits your setting
Every nursery is different. Our four tiers are designed so you can start where it makes sense and scale as your needs grow.
Tier 1

These sessions provide a structured forum to share wellbeing successes, address challenges, and discuss questions related to mental health and employee wellbeing.
From £30 per month.

Tier 2
Monthly Group Support
Employers receive access to a comprehensive, ongoing wellbeing toolkit, complemented by monthly group support sessions delivered by video conference for managers and mental health champions. Tier 3
Monthly Individual Support
Employers receive access to a comprehensive, ongoing wellbeing toolkit, complemented by monthly individual support sessions delivered by video conference for managers and mental health champions. Extra
Individual In-Person
We offer individual, in-person workplace visits designed to support the effective implementation of our wellbeing toolkit within your organisation. Each visit is tailored to the specific needs of your business and is planned in advance through a consultation to ensure the session delivers maximum value and practical outcomes for your team. Please note that individual visits are priced for locations within a 50-mile radius of NG15. Additional travel costs, and accommodation where required, will apply for visits beyond this radius.
